Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Control access to the facility by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Enforce security policies and procedures, including loss prevention measures and conflict management protocols.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies.
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities and security events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to perform physical duties such as patrolling on foot or standing for extended periods.
- Excellent observational skills with a keen attention to detail.
