Cedar Hammock Golf & Country Club is seeking an experienced, energetic, and service-driven Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our management team.
Cedar Hammock is a premier private, bundled golf community in Naples, Florida, serving approximately 800 residences. Our Food & Beverage operation includes multiple dining venues, banquets, golf events, member functions, holiday celebrations, and a busy seasonal calendar.
The Position
Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will assist with the day-to-day operation of the Club's dining, beverage, banquet, and special-event services.
We are looking for a manager who enjoys being on the floor—engaging with members, coaching employees, monitoring service standards, solving problems, and helping deliver an exceptional member experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily management of Food & Beverage operations.
- Maintain a visible management presence during dining periods, events, and peak service times.
- Supervise, coach, train, schedule, and develop front-of-house employees.
- Ensure consistent standards for hospitality, service, appearance, and professionalism.
- Build positive relationships with members and respond professionally to feedback.
- Coordinate closely with the Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Chef.
- Assist with banquets, golf events, member functions, and special events.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and employee performance management.
- Assist with labor management, inventory, purchasing, and departmental cost controls.
- Serve as Manager on Duty as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Previous Food & Beverage supervisory experience in a private club, resort, hotel, upscale restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
- Strong front-of-house leadership and service skills.
- A genuine hospitality mindset and commitment to exceptional service.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
- Experience with banquets, events, and high-volume service is preferred.
- Working knowledge of scheduling, labor management, inventory, and cost controls.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by Club operations.
Private-club experience is a plus, but not required. We welcome experienced hospitality professionals who have the leadership ability, service mentality, and desire to grow within the private-club industry.

Compensation & Benefits
