We are seeking passionate volunteers to support Embrace, Empower & Entice (E3): A Fundraiser Extravaganza Supporting Mental Health Across All Identities. RAW Services, LLC and The Burke Institute for Revolutionary and Sustainable Wellness, E³ was designed as both a fundraising initiative and a celebration of the transformative work The Institute continues to cultivate within marginalized communities. All proceeds from this event go directly to The Phoenix Rising Equity Fund, which subsidizes mental health and wellness services for marginalized individuals and communities.
The event embodies the Institute's mission by creating intentional spaces where healing, creativity, education, embodiment, advocacy, and community care can coexist. The Burke Institute for Revolutionary and Sustainable Wellness exists to transform mental health culture and advance equitable mental health access by training helping professionals in culturally responsive, trauma-informed, justice-rooted care. Therefore, a major praxis the Institute utilizes to expand pathways for healing for marginalized communities is to then include access to these competent and affirming mental health and wellness professionals. Through education, advocacy, healing-centered programming, and community collaboration, we work to increase awareness, inclusion, safety, competency, and access to care that honors the diverse experiences and needs of the communities we serve.

We are gathering to:Celebrate the birthday of Angelique L. Burke, Founder & CEO, raise awareness about inequities in mental health access for marginalized communities, fundraise for the Phoenix Rising Equity Fund that reduces financial barriers for folks seeking therapeutic services by subsidizing costs of care and expanding access to that care, & create a joyful space for healing, expression, liberation, wellness and connection
Event experiences include: 11:00 AM – 3: PM | Self-Care Salon
A wellness-centered space featuring vendors, artists, and practitioners offering healing, rest, creativity, and community connection.
5:30 PM – 7:30 PM | Burlesque Showcase & Celebration
A vibrant evening of performances, storytelling, dancing, food, drinks, and embodied celebration.
We are looking for volunteers who are excited to support: Guest check-in, Performer & backstage support, Event setup/breakdown, Social media & content capture, Food & beverage assistance, Community engagement & guest support…and more!
