Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead and oversee our facilities maintenance operations. In this role, you will manage maintenance teams, coordinate repair activities, and ensure all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems operate efficiently and safely. Duties
- Supervise and manage facilities maintenance teams, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure timely completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), plumbing, HVAC units, and industrial equipment using schematics, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to optimize equipment uptime and lifecycle.
- Lead projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits, training staff on proper procedures, and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Interpret technical schematics for complex mechanical or electrical systems; troubleshoot issues related to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and HVAC systems to restore optimal operation swiftly.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for maintenance activities while controlling costs effectively.
Requirements
- Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance teams in manufacturing or similar environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing mechanical systems, HVAC units (including system repair), plumbing systems, electrical wiring (high voltage/low voltage), and industrial machinery.
- Familiarity with schematics, engineering troubleshooting methods, CMMS platforms, and safety regulations applicable to industrial settings.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and electrical wiring diagrams; experience working with PLCs is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing; experience with HVAC system repair is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills in English for effective team coordination and documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of project management principles to oversee large-scale maintenance initiatives efficiently.
