Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Toast POS
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly and adhere to alcohol service regulations
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts
- Collaborate with team members to provide seamless service during events like banquets or catering functions
- Uphold food handling standards and ensure all beverages are prepared safely and hygienically
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently in high-volume settings
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleanup of the bar area as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling practices
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and drink measurements accurately
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with local laws and regulations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts
- Previous retail math or cashiering experience is a plus
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or hospitality industry standards is advantageous
