Job Summary
Small family law firm in Nampa with immediate opening for Legal Office Administrator to join our team. This vital role involves supporting daily firm operations in a busy legal environment by ensuring seamless administrative support, maintaining organized client files, answering phones, communicating with clients, assisting attorneys with scheduling, coordinating client intake and onboarding, e-filing, making bank and post office runs, managing accounts receivable and payable, and preparing monthly client invoices. Must have strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and phone skills. Must be able to multi-task, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of law office experience, preferably in family law, and proficiency with Microsoft and Adobe. Full-time, in-person position, with every Friday afternoon off. Salary DOE plus health insurance, Simple IRA match (after 1 yr), holidays and PTO.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, including multi-line phone systems to ensure prompt and professional communication with clients.
- Manage calendar scheduling for attorneys, coordinating meetings, court dates, and client appointments with precision.
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate training & strategies to enhance team performance.
- Maintain organized client files, including legal documents, client records, and confidential information in both physical and digital formats.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks such as client invoicing and management of accounts receivable and payable.
- Support human resources functions including onboarding new employees
- Promote a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure compliance with office procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management, administrative support, or clerical roles within a legal environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to interact confidently with clients, attorneys, Court staff, and co-workers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Adobe.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of scheduling management tools and multi-line phone systems for efficient call handling.
- Experience in scheduling, bookkeeping, invoicing, or human resources is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Familiarity with family law is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
