Position: Part-Time Event Dishwasher
Location: Willows Event Center
Overview:
The Willows Event Center is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Event Dishwasher to support our kitchen team during events. This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in our back-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using both the 3-bowl manual sink system and the automatic dishwashing machine.

Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper storage of clean equipment.

Take out garbage, recycling, and food waste in compliance with sanitation and safety standards.

Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping floors, and wiping down surfaces.

Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and ensure proper sanitation before and after use.

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in accordance with Department of Agriculture and internal standards.
Support kitchen staff and event operations as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a dishwasher, steward, or kitchen porter role preferred, but not required.

Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
