Summary
We are looking for an experienced Remote Medical Billing Account Manager to support our revenue cycle operations remotely on a full-time basis.
This role is designed for someone who can step in quickly, manage day-to-day billing functions, and maintain consistency in claims processing, follow-up, collections, and account management. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working inside medical billing workflows and can operate independently with minimal supervision.
Scope of Work
- Responsibilities will include most or all of the following:
- Review EOBs and ERAs to identify non-payment and denial reasons
- Analyze and resolve claim denials and rejections
- Review claims for proper diagnosis and procedure code linkage
-Apply billing modifiers appropriately to ensure correct adjudication
- Perform claims scrubbing and QA before submission
- Manage claim queues and follow-up workflows
- Submit initial and secondary claims based on payer guidelines
- Research payer portals and insurance websites for billing updates and claim resolution
- Maintain accurate billing documentation and account notes
- Ensure timely follow-up on unpaid or rejected claims
- Support account management and client communication as needed
- Work independently while meeting productivity and quality expectations

Qualifications
- Previous Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience required
- Previous medical billing experience required
- Experience with denials management, claims follow-up, and insurance verification preferred
- Ability to read and interpret EOBs and ERAs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience working remotely preferred
