YOUR MISSION
Reporting to the Installation Operations Manager and working closely with Project Coordination, Operations, Quality and third-party installation crews, the Field Representative – Quality Prevention & Improvement acts as CSF’s on-site technical and quality representative. The Field Representative must be present in the stores where installation work is being performed for CSF clients located in the United States. The purpose of this role is to prevent installation issues before they occur, ensure work is completed according to CSF standards, support installers in the field, document quality concerns and contribute to continuous improvement across installation projects.
WHAT YOUR DAY TO DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
- Visit active installation sites to represent CSF in the field and ensure work is progressing according to expectations, project requirements and quality standards.
- Observe installation methods, identify potential risks or recurring issues, and take action early to prevent deficiencies, delays or rework.
- Verify the quality of completed work, including alignment, fit, finish, cleanliness, material handling and respect of installation instructions.
- Support installers by clarifying expectations, answering field-related questions and helping resolve practical issues directly on site.
- Document site observations, deficiencies, photos, corrective actions and follow-ups in a clear and timely manner.
- Communicate regularly with Project Coordination, Operations and Quality teams to escalate issues, share updates and support decision-making.
- Follow up on corrective actions with installers or third-party partners to ensure issues are resolved properly and do not repeat.
- Contribute to the improvement of installation procedures, training material, checklists and quality standards based on field observations.
- Promote a professional, safe and customer-focused approach on every job site.
- Perform any other related duties required to support successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

- Strong field presence with the confidence to intervene when quality, safety or installation standards are not being followed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work professionally with installers, general contractors, clients and internal teams.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify fit, finish, alignment, material or workmanship issues before they become larger problems.
- Ability to read, understand and apply scopes of work, installation instructions, technical documentation and project requirements.
- Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to make practical decisions in a fast-paced field environment.
- Comfortable documenting issues clearly through written notes, photos, daily reports and follow-up tools.
- Ability to coach, guide and influence third-party installers while maintaining professionalism and respect.
- Strong sense of accountability, judgment, organization and follow-through.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant field experience in installation, construction, store fixtures, commercial refrigeration, retail renovation, millwork, maintenance, quality control or a similar hands-on environment.
- Experience working on job sites or client locations, ideally in environments involving general contractors, subcontractors or third-party installation crews.
- Good understanding of workmanship standards, installation quality, site safety practices and basic construction or installation sequencing.
- Ability to interpret scopes of work, drawings, installation guides, measurements, photos and technical instructions.
- Previous experience coaching installers, leading small field teams, performing quality inspections or acting as a site representative is considered a strong asset.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel frequently to client sites, including overnight stays when required.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Teams, Smartsheet or similar reporting and communication tools.
- English required for communication with clients, installers and internal stakeholder.
- Ability to work flexible hours depending on project schedules, site access and installation timelines.
