Responsibilities
- Monitor premises using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety protocols are followed and identify potential hazards or threats.
- Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, providing effective conflict management and de-escalation when necessary.
- Assist in emergency situations by administering first aid or CPR if required, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders.
- Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and observations through shift reports and logs.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by monitoring for theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious behavior.
Experience
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in conflict management and surveillance techniques is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control procedures, and loss prevention practices is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies or conflicts.
