Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead rehabilitation services within a healthcare organization committed to delivering exceptional patient care. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing rehabilitation operations, developing effective therapy programs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department.
- Supervise and support therapy professionals, including PT, OT, SLP, assistants, aides, and students.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and department performance.
- Ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs based on patient needs.
- Monitor clinical outcomes, documentation, and quality measures.
- Mentor and support team members through training and professional development.
- Collaborate with facility leadership and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive resident outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for program growth and continuous improvement.
Experience
- Licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech-Language Pathologist, or applicable therapy discipline.
- Previous rehabilitation leadership or management experience preferred.
- Experience within a skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of therapy operations, clinical documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Current CPR/BLS certification as required.
