Overview
We're hiring an HR Consultant & HRIS Implementation Specialist to support both client delivery and some internal operations. This is a hybrid role—part fractional HR partner, part systems builder. You'll split your time between providing fractional HR support to our clients and implementing HRIS and Payroll systems, while helping build repeatable processes internally.
Duration: 6 month Contract, Contract to hire, 1099

What You'll Do:
Fractional HR
- Serve as an embedded, part-time HR partner across multiple client accounts
- Advise on core HR functions—onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, policy, compliance, and HR best practices
- Build and document scalable HR processes, playbooks, and workflows for clients
- Support benefits administration, leave, and day-to-day HR operations
- Coach client leaders and act as a trusted point of contact on people matters
HRIS & Payroll Implementation
- Support and help lead HRIS and Payroll system implementations from kickoff through go-live
- Configure systems based on client requirements and best practices
- Execute data migration activities, including validation and reconciliation
- Collaborate with vendors and partners during implementation to ensure successful outcomes
- Guide clients on system setup, workflows, and integrations with related tools
- Provide ongoing support during implementations, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met
Client Delivery & Internal Operations
- Act as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, driving successful project outcomes
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication across engagements
- Help build repeatable internal processes, templates, and tools that scale with the business
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years of experience with HR tools—such as Human Capital Management (HCM), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Payroll, Resource Management, or Professional Services Automation (PSA)
- Hands-on experience with one or more of: Rippling, PayPro, UKG, Rippling, HiBob, ADP
- Direct experience with core, generalist, or fractional HR work (onboarding, employee relations, compliance, policy, benefits, or HR operations)
- Experience implementing or supporting HRIS and Payroll systems, including configuration, setup, data migration, and working with vendors during implementation
- Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Gmail, Meet, etc.)
- Experience in client-facing roles: leading meetings, managing timelines, or presenting to stakeholders
- Experience building or supporting internal operations, ideally in professional services or HR tech
- Strong execution skills: organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Confident communicator—verbal, written, and in presentations
- Curious, coachable, and excited to grow with a fast-paced team
- Reliable and professional: attend all client meetings, be on time, be dependable, and consistently show up prepared
- Active team participant: attend all internal meetings and contribute to a collaborative, accountable environment
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with HR tools like Visier, Radancy, Greenhouse, iCIMS, BambooHR, TriNet
- Experience supporting private equity–backed or scaling companies
- Experience working with service-based companies
- Proficiency in Notion and entry-level AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Notion AI, Gemini, etc.)
- Experience working with AI-driven technology in HR, operations, or workforce systems—and a mindset for innovation
- Familiarity with modern workforce tech stacks including, but not limited to: Candidate Relationship Management (CRM), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Capital Management (HCM), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Resource Management platforms, and Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools
