We are currently seeking an art teacher to teach in Andover, MA starting 9/16:
- Tuesday 2:30 - 3:30 PM
- Wednesday 3:30 - 4:30 PM
- Thursday 2:30 - 3:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Instruct art classes for children ages 5-10 in schools in Andover, MA
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students.
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
- Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide a fun and creative environment.
Requirements:
- Must be able to commit for a 3-6 month period
- Must be comfortable instructing 8 children and completing one art project per class
Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience required.
- Interest / experience in art or passion for art!
- Excellent communication skills.
- Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
- Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
- Professional and comfortable teaching in a private school setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
- High hourly compensation
- Potential to earn four yearly bonuses
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
