Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of commercial and residential structures. Your expertise will ensure that roofs are durable, weather-resistant, and meet safety standards. Responsibilities
- Install new roofing systems using a variety of materials including shingles, metal, flat roofs, and specialty products
- Repair and replace damaged or aging roofs to extend their lifespan and improve performance
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise installation
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Conduct inspections to verify roof integrity, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and clients to coordinate work schedules and project timelines
- Apply caulking, flashing, trim carpentry, stucco finishes, and other related tasks to complete roofing projects professionally
Qualifications
- Proven experience in roofing installation, repair, or related construction fields with a strong understanding of roofing materials and techniques
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
- Ability to operate hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels as well as power tools like drills and saws safely
- Knowledge of construction management principles including site safety protocols and inspection standards
- Experience with related trades such as plumbing, electrical work, masonry, or framing is a plus
- Strong physical stamina for working at heights, lifting heavy materials, and performing manual labor in various weather conditions
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
