Responsibilities
- Prepare beverages for bar and restaurant patrons while controlling pour costs
- Interact with customers and make recommendations based on preferences
- Check identification and verify age requirements
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bar and restock inventory as needed
- Keep a pulse on trends in the beverage industry
Requirements
- At least 6 months of proven experience as a bartender
- Understanding of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Excellent cash handling skills
- Fantastic interpersonal skills
- Warm, friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
