Creative & Graphic Designer (Part-Time)

15–20 hours per week Reno / Truckee Remote-Hybrid
At Coffeebar and Dopo, creativity isn’t window dressing — it’s part of the soul of what we serve. From bags of single-origin coffee roasted with intention, to a red-sauce joint with mountain swagger, our brands live and breathe through the visuals that tell our story. We’re looking for a part-time Creative & Graphic Designer who can keep that story tight, beautiful, and unmistakably “us.”
This role is perfect for someone who loves hospitality, sweats the details, and knows that great design is just another form of great service. You’ll work across both brands to steward our visual identity, evolve our creative assets, and bring new ideas to life across print, digital, in-store, web, and beyond.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Brand Stewardship
- Maintain and elevate Coffeebar’s legacy brand elements — including lion logos, Giuseppe, Zephyr, Prima Donna, Trailhead, and each new single-origin coffee release.
- Ensure brand consistency across both Dopo and Coffeebar.
- Steward typography, color, layout, and brand details.
Creative Development
- Design menus for both brands (seasonal, food, cocktails, wine lists, LTOs).
- Create promotional assets for retail, web, packaging, events, and print.
- Support marketing campaigns with fresh creative concepts.
- Collaborate with leadership and store teams on visual storytelling.
Coffee Packaging & Release Design
- Design labels for single-origin coffee releases with strong narrative and visual identity.
- Ensure production-ready files for printers.
Menu & Collateral Design
- Produce on-brand layouts for all menus and printed materials.
- Update signage, flyers, POS assets, and in-store visuals.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Director of Coffee, Direct of Retail, Marketing, and store managers and the CEO for Dopo related branding.
- Handle shifting priorities with consistency, clarity, and calm.
- Work and communicate efficiently with all external vendors for Coffeebar & Dopo.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2–5+ years graphic design experience.
- Adobe Creative Suite + Canva expertise.
- Strong skills in typography, layout, storytelling.
- Experience designing for print + digital.
- Organized, detail-oriented, collaborative.
- Bonus: packaging, illustration, photography.
