We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and passionate Kids & Teen Dance Instructor to lead engaging dance and movement classes for elementary, middle, and high school students in our after-school and summer enrichment programs throughout Broward and/or Miami-Dade County.
This role is ideal for instructors who enjoy inspiring young people through movement while creating a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver dynamic 45-minute dance classes for students in elementary, middle, and high school settings.
- Teach age-appropriate choreography and movement while promoting creativity, coordination, confidence, teamwork, and physical fitness.
- Adapt instruction to accommodate varying ages, skill levels, learning styles, and class sizes.
- Foster a safe, fun, and respectful environment that encourages participation and self-expression.
- Manage classroom behavior professionally while maintaining high levels of student engagement.
- Prepare music playlists and choreography appropriate for school environments.
- Set up and pack away equipment before and after each class.
- Communicate professionally with school staff, program coordinators, and parents when required.
- Represent the organization with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude at all school sites.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching dance, movement, fitness, or performing arts to children and teens.
- Comfortable working with kids and teens.
- Strong classroom management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and highly organized.
- Ability to motivate students of all experience levels while creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Experience in styles such as Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Creative Movement, Latin Dance, Cultural Dance, or Fitness Dance is welcomed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Zumba® Kids or Zumba® certification preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Experience leading after-school, summer camp, recreation, or community youth programs.
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to multiple school locations throughout Broward and/or Miami-Dade Counties.
- Must provide and operate a portable Bluetooth speaker and music for classes.
- Must successfully complete Level 2 Fingerprinting and a background screening before employment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
