Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Henry’s Fork Surgery Center
Henry’s Fork Surgery Center is looking for a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our surgical team. This is a part-time position in a fast-paced outpatient surgery environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with pre-operative patient care and preparation
- Support nursing staff with post-operative and recovery care
- Help patients with mobility and other basic care needs
- Obtain and document vital signs as directed
- Prepare patient areas before and after procedures
- Assist with room turnover, cleaning, and restocking
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Assist nurses and other clinical staff as needed
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and HIPAA requirements
- Provide friendly and professional care to patients and families
Cross-Training Opportunities:
This position will be cross-trained in additional areas of the surgery center to help support daily operations and provide scheduling flexibility. Cross-training may include:
- Front Desk: Patient check-in and check-out, answering phones, assisting with paperwork, and other front office responsibilities
- Instrument Processing: Cleaning, scrubbing, preparing, and sterilizing surgical instruments according to facility policies and infection control standards
- Assisting with stocking and maintaining clinical and surgical supplies
- Providing support in other areas of the surgery center as needed
Qualifications:
- Current CNA certification
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, organized, and willing to help wherever needed
- Comfortable learning and working in multiple areas of the surgery center
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous surgical experience is helpful but not required
Position Details:
- Part-time
- Daytime hours
- Outpatient surgery setting
- No overnight shifts
- Schedule may vary based on surgical volume
