Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking Forklift Operators to hire at a food manufacturing, packing, and distribution facility located in Villa Rica! The ideal candidate should be dependable, have reliable transportation, and available to work full time, as this position requires being open to working 12-hour shifts with the possibility of working overtime and Saturdays. 1st and 2nd shift available!
Pay Rate: $15.00-16.00/hour depending on shift
Shifts: Monday-Friday 3AM-3:30PM OR Monday-Friday 2PM-10:30PM
Requirements for Forklift Operators:
After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:
- Must be open to mandatory 12-hour shifts, including overtime on weekends when production demands.
- Must have a minimum of two 2 years of Sit-Down Forklift experience.
- Must be familiar with receiving.
- Must be familiar with Put aways.
- Must have RF Scan Gun experience.
- Must be familiar with the WMS/IBM System.
- Food Grade experience is preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to work in fast pace environment.
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.
Responsibilities of Forklift Operators:
- Operating a Sit Down Forklift putting product on the line.
- Loading and unloading trailers.
- Getting production off of the shelves and loading it onto the trailers.
- Moving pallets from end of line to racks.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
