Responsibilities for Dishwasher
- Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine
- Clean food prep stations and equipment
- Food prep: cutting lettuce mix
- Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes using a 3 comp sink
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine
- Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly
- Empty trash containers regularly, break down cardboard and recycle
- Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed
- Perform additional cleaning duties
Summary
In the role of Dishwasher, you will be essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, your responsibilities will include washing dishes, cleaning kitchen areas, and assisting with food preparation as needed. Your core skills in bussing and relevant experience in food handling and restaurant operations will be vital to uphold our sanitation standards. A high school diploma or GED and a Food Handler Certification are required, ensuring you contribute effectively to our commitment to quality and customer service.
