Role Overview
The Warehouse Night Shift Loader is responsible for physically preparing, verifying, and securing outgoing freight into delivery trucks. The role requires a blend of heavy manual labor, equipment operation, and strict attention to safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Truck Preparation & Inspection: Ensuring delivery trailers are clean, undamaged, and set to the correct temperature before loading.
- Loading & Stacking: Manually lifting and stacking heavy boxes or totes (often 30 to over 50 lbs) to ensure safe, stable transit.
- Order Verification: Checking loaded cargo against dispatch manifests, routing sheets, and barcodes to guarantee order accuracy. This will be done with a RF scanner.
- Equipment Operation: You may be required to operate electric pallet jacks to load and maneuver product accordingly. Training for this will be conducted on site.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintaining a hazard-free loading dock, identifying damaged inventory, and adhering to OSHA and company safety guidelines.
Work Schedule
Sunday - Thursday 4:00 pm start time until all trucks are loaded and ready for next day deliveries.
This is a full-time position and the shift length depends on sales volume.
