American Traveler is hiring an LPN/LVN for a 13-week night shift travel assignment in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, requiring at least 1 year of telemetry experience and an active LPN/LVN license.

Located in an acute care hospital setting in Alexandria, LA

Assignment in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit (4S)

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

13-week assignment

Active LPN/LVN license required (license required if applicable)

Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry or Med/Surg Telemetry experience

Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required; certification must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment

NIH Stroke Certification required for Telemetry unit nurses

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted

One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

This is a travel position; candidates within the 50-mile radius are not eligible regardless of circumstances
