Overview:
We’re looking for an energetic and caring individual to join our vibrant early childhood education team as an infant/toddler teacher. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in infants and toddlers
- Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence
- Engage with children through interactive activities that support literacy education, and motor skills
- Manage daily routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and transitions with patience and consistency
- Observe and document each child's progress, behavior management needs, and developmental milestones to inform individualized learning plans
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's growth, challenges, and achievements
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure classroom management aligns with best practices in childhood development and special education needs
Skills
- Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
- Knowledge of diapering protocol
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including classroom management techniques
- Experience working with children in infants and toddlers
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, concepts, physical education, and sensory activities
- Skilled in behavior management strategies to foster positive social interactions among young children
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners
- Understanding of child welfare policies and best practices for working with children requiring special education or early intervention services

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
