Desired Experience and Skills:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant credentials for school-based practice
- Experience in school settings, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy for pediatric or adolescent populations
- Strong abilities in assessing and developing fine and gross motor skills in children and adolescents
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and collaborative service delivery
- Excellent communication skills for building rapport with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students, addressing fine/gross motor, sensory, and self-help skills
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs and learning goals
- Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success
- Utilize both in-person and teletherapy modalities when appropriate to serve all students effectively
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as a valued member of the educational team
