ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use a variety of measuring tools including, tape measure, laser and levels
- Will be responsible to fabricate according to shop drawings, sketches, work orders, or verbal instructions.
- Understand, and follow job specifications, engineering drawings, and/or work orders.
- Detail oriented
- Accurately measure and lay out locations for welded components
- Adjust weld as needed to accommodate varying thicknesses of steel
- Operate grinder, drill, saw, torch and various iron working equipment
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
- Skill level includes MIG/TIG welding capabilities
- Must have prior fabrication experience
