The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. This role requires technical expertise, troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC units and perform corrective action.

Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently.

Monitor and test system performance; adjust controls as needed.

Maintain accurate service records, logs, and reports.

Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental guidelines.

Respond promptly to emergency service requests and minimize downtime.

Collaborate with other maintenance and operations personnel to resolve facility issues.

Recommend improvements to increase efficiency and extend equipment life.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.

EPA Section 608 certification (refrigerant handling).

Proven experience as an HVAC technician or in a related maintenance role.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and electrical/mechanical components.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in various environments.
