Duties
- Engage with customers both inside the store and in the field to identify their renovation and remodeling needs
- Present product demos including fixtures, lighting, cabinetry, and other home improvement solutions
- Utilize CAD and SketchUp to create layout designs that meet client specifications and enhance their spaces
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and upselling opportunities to maximize sales while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Build strong client relationships through effective communication, follow-up, and personalized service
- Manage sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash or credit payments with professionalism
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote high-end sales products and merchandising strategies
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions within CRM systems and ensure timely follow-up on leads
- Conduct product demonstrations, explain technical features, and assist clients in selecting appropriate remodeling fixtures or lighting solutions
- Support store operations by stocking displays, assisting with merchandising efforts, and ensuring product availability
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the home improvement or construction industry
- Familiarity with renovation projects, remodeling processes, or construction sales is highly desirable
- Technical proficiency in CAD software (such as SketchUp or similar), Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in English; multilingual skills are a plus
- Knowledge of lighting design, interior layout design, or fixture sales enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Experience in upselling and closing high-end sales deals while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Background in construction or remodeling projects provides valuable insight into client needs and technical solutions
- Organizational skills for managing multiple client accounts efficiently while delivering personalized service
