KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT 7+ YEARS OF CUSTOM CABINET MAKING EXPERIENCE
- Start-to-Finish Custom Cabinet Building
- Able to do Layouts from drawings and create Cut/Build Sheets ** A Plus**
- Cut and Prepare Panels (Panel Work/Building Face Frames)
- Assemble and Detail
- Install Door and Drawer Fronts
- Operate Shop Tools including Table Saw, Panel Saw, Chop Saw, Miter Saw, Pneumatic Nail Guns, Drill Press, Framing Table, Edge Bander, Overhead Wide-Belt Sander, All Basic Hand Tools (routers/sanders/etc)
- Double Check Measurements before Cutting against Job Plans
- Follows Production Schedule and ensuring deadlines are met
- Help maintain and Organized shop and an Efficient Workflow Pattern
- Strong Understanding of Safety Policies while ensuring that all Safety rules are being followed at all Times
- Maintain positive working relationships with crew
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7 or more years experience, 10 years+desired.
- Effective Communication Skills
- Proactive Self Starter
- High Attention to Detail
- High Level of Integrity and Accountability
- Ability to read Blue Prints and Fabrication Drawings
- Ability to read hand drawings/ layout sheets
- Sound Analytical Thinking and Planning
- Professional Demeanor
- Proficient in Cabinet Making
- Ability to Lift 50lbs.
