Responsibilities

- Conduct crisis intervention and crisis management when urgent situations arise, ensuring safety and appropriate follow-up
- Collaborate with clinical teams to coordinate care and share insights from your peer perspective
- Maintain accurate documentation of interactions using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy standards
- Mentor clients through motivational interviewing techniques to foster motivation for change and personal empowerment
- Participate in ongoing training on behavioral health topics, addiction counseling, social work practices, and crisis management to enhance your effectiveness
Skills
- Strong understanding of behavioral health issues, mental health counseling principles, and addiction recovery processes
- Proven ability to perform crisis intervention and manage emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Excellent mentoring skills with a compassionate approach that encourages trust and openness
- Proficiency in using EHR systems for documentation and record keeping
