Field Leadership & Project Execution
- Serve as the primary field leader and point of coordination for subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel.
- Direct and oversee all daily construction activities to ensure alignment with project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
- Lead field operations from project startup through closeout while maintaining productivity and operational efficiency.
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, including short-term look-ahead plans and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate field activities to ensure seamless collaboration among trades and project stakeholders.
Safety & Quality Management
- Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and site-specific requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards.
- Identify potential issues early and implement corrective actions to minimize project disruptions.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with contract documents, project specifications, and industry standards.
Subcontractor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Manage subcontractor performance, productivity, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Assist with subcontractor procurement, bid evaluations, and scope reviews as needed.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and field personnel to support successful project delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners, suppliers, and internal teams.
Schedule, Cost & Documentation Management
- Monitor project progress and proactively address schedule impacts.
- Support budget management efforts through accurate tracking of labor, productivity, and project costs.
- Maintain accurate field reports, schedules, logs, and project documentation.
- Ensure project records and required paperwork are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Provide regular project updates and progress reporting to project leadership and stakeholders.
Team Development & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop field staff and emerging construction professionals.
- Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the jobsite.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages professional growth and high performance.
- Support workforce planning and resource management to meet project demands.
