Giacomo's Brick Oven Pizza & Trattoria will be opening in July 2026 in Shrewsbury, New Jersey! We are looking for a Pizza Maker and a Pizza Helper
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients with precision and care.
- Use knife skills to chop, slice, and assemble fresh ingredients efficiently.
- Cook pizzas in accordance with recipes and quality standards using ovens or other cooking equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace to ensure food safety and hygiene.
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling tasks for various menu items beyond pizza as needed.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures at all times.
- Support the team during busy hours by serving customers, managing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of hot, fresh pizzas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cooking, food preparation, or a restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience in the food industry or catering services is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving customers.
- Basic understanding of culinary processes related to pizza making and meal assembly.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
