Project Manager/Estimator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager to lead construction project estimations and oversee project execution from inception to completion. This role combines precise cost analysis with proactive project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts thoroughly to develop precise bid proposals.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable pricing and contractual terms that align with project budgets and objectives.
- Manage all aspects of project execution, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with field teams to ensure seamless construction site operations.
- Monitor project progress regularly, implementing cost control strategies and adjusting estimates as needed to stay within budget.
- Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and managing change orders effectively.
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues promptly and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management within commercial or heavy civil construction environments.
- Construction and demolition knowledge.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
- In-depth knowledge of construction estimating processes, cost control techniques, and pricing strategies.
- Hands-on construction site experience that provides practical insight into field operations and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, legal considerations, and project management methodologies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, vendors, and stakeholders at all levels.
- A valid driver's license is required for this position.
