Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from appointment scheduling to treatment coordination. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical and dental terminology, and the ability to support both administrative functions and patient needs with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with appointment scheduling using dental office management software.
- Provide accurate information regarding treatment plans, insurance coverage, and financial policies to patients.
- Manage patient records with confidentiality, ensuring all documentation complies with privacy regulations.
- Coordinate between patients, dental providers, and insurance companies to facilitate smooth treatment processes.
- Support the administrative team by handling phone inquiries, appointment confirmations, and billing procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized front office environment that reflects professionalism and efficiency.
- Assist in onboarding new patients by explaining office policies, procedures, and available services.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dental care.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling, billing, and record management.
- Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in a dental office setting is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and team members alike. Pay: $47,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
