School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Clinical Fellow (CFY)

Location: Bakersfield, CA
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Assignment Dates: 2026–2027 School Year
Pay: $50–55+/hr (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP (CFY mentor)
- Deliver evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for elementary students
- Manage a speech-only, mild/mod caseload with case management responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and eligibility decisions
- Maintain documentation and progress reporting using the SIRAS IEP system
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Provide direct services in a school-based setting across assigned caseload
Experience:
- Clinical Fellows (CFY candidates) strongly encouraged to apply
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Structured CFY supervision and mentorship provided
Education/Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligible for California SLP licensure
- CFY eligible through ASHA (Clinical Fellowship Year track)
