Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Planning & Analysis team. This position will partner closely with Finance and Operations leadership to provide meaningful financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision support. 1. Corporate Finance & Financial Planning
- 4+ years of progressive corporate finance or FP&A experience
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and business planning
- Experience partnering with business leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations
2. Advanced Excel & Financial Modeling
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to develop and maintain complex financial models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience evaluating financial impacts, identifying trends, and supporting strategic initiatives
3. Business Partnership & Communication
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear, concise manner
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams and executive leadership
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and drives continuous process improvement
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis
- Develop forecasts, budgets, and long-range financial plans
- Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations to improve business performance
- Build financial models to evaluate operational initiatives and special projects
- Partner with Finance and Operations leaders to support strategic decision-making
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve financial reporting processes
- Prioritize multiple projects while meeting aggressive deadlines
- Present financial results and recommendations to management
- Mentor team members on analytical techniques, financial modeling, and business communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 4+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate, high-quality work
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, or related advanced degree
- Experience with Oracle, HFM, OneStream, MicroStrategy BI, or similar financial systems
- Knowledge of R, Alteryx, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), or other analytical tools
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and statistics
