Position Summary
As a Bartender / Mixologist, you are both a hospitality professional and a craft beverage expert. Your role extends beyond preparing cocktails—you create memorable guest experiences through outstanding service, beverage knowledge, creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional cocktails and beverages while maintaining operational excellence through inventory management, cost control, cleanliness, organization, and teamwork.
Our bartenders are leaders behind the bar, setting the pace, supporting the service team, and ensuring every guest receives an outstanding experience from the first drink to the final farewell.
Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest with warmth, confidence, and authentic hospitality.
- Create handcrafted cocktails with consistency, precision, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of classic cocktails, signature recipes, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Guide guests through beverage selections with professional recommendations and pairings.
- Deliver exceptional bar service while creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.
- Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining composure during high-volume service.
- Accurately enter orders and process payments using the restaurant POS system.
- Maintain complete cash handling accuracy and accountability throughout every shift.
- Follow all opening, shift change, and closing procedures according to company standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked bar stations at all times.
- Monitor product levels and communicate inventory needs to management.
- Assist with inventory counts, ordering, receiving, rotation, and proper storage of all beverage products.
- Practice responsible portion control and beverage consistency to support food and beverage cost goals.
- Minimize waste through proper preparation, storage, and inventory awareness.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate closely with servers, food runners, kitchen staff, and managers to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Assist in training and supporting new team members when needed.
- Continuously maintain the highest standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and hospitality.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience in upscale casual, fine dining, or high-volume hospitality environments preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of classic cocktails, modern mixology, premium spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service.
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Experience with restaurant POS systems such as TOAST or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of responsible alcohol service and local beverage regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient under pressure.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely.
- Ability to move quickly throughout a fast-paced service.
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, and work continuously throughout each shift.
- Ability to safely lift cases of liquor, beer, wine, ice, and beverage supplies.
