Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for supervising and leading a QA team, developing and implementing quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance within FDA, Company, and customer standards regarding food quality and food safety. Conduct audits and inspections to identify defects, process inefficiencies, or compliance issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Monitoring production processes and product testing, analyzing quality data, and reporting to senior management. Participating in customer and regulatory audits and working with senior management in addressing complaints or product recalls when necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Corporate Quality Assurance, Plant Management, and Plant staff regarding procedures, standards, equipment and operational procedures to improve overall product safety and quality.

Basic Qualifications:
· Five years of quality management experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
· Must have above average math and problem-solving skills.
· Must have a minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
· Must have knowledge of industry standards, FSMA, and GMP’s.
· Must possess current or previous certifications as PCQI, HACCP Coordinator, and/or GSDI Practitioner.
· Must possess working knowledge of lab methodologies and environmental monitoring.
· Must possess excellent documentation and communication skills.
· Must be willing and able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
· Must be willing and able to climb and work at various levels in the facility using stairs, ladders, and elevated platforms.
· Must be willing and able to determine detail and distinguish colors
· Must be willing and able to wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
· Must be willing and able to travel when needed.
Preferred
· Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline.
