Mini of Rochester and The Bob Johnson Automotive Group is looking for a motived technician with an interest to grow and with a fun and unique brand. Pay ranging from $52,000-$80,000 a year, in addition to offering up to a $5,000 sign on bonus with a $5,000 annual retention bonus. Willingness and ability to operate as part of a fun hardworking team is a must. Mini Cooper experience is not required (BMW experience is a plus) and all training expenses are paid for. Many trainings at exciting BMW M facility.
Automobile Technician Mechanic Job Responsibilities:

Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.

Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components.

Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.

Complies with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.

Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.

Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
