Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathology Therapist to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality speech therapy services to clients, focusing on early intervention and tailored care. The ideal candidate will have experience in school settings and a strong understanding of the principles of speech therapy, physiology, and anatomy as well as a current FL DOH Speech and Language Pathology Certification
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech and language abilities to identify areas of need.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions to improve communication skills in children.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support the development of effective communication strategies.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and support to families regarding speech and language development and strategies for home practice.
- Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
- A master's or doctoral degree in speech-language pathology
- A current FL DOH Speech and Language Pathology Certification
- Previous experience working with student populations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with school environments and the unique challenges faced by students requiring speech therapy services.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment techniques related to speech-language pathology.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
