Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless overnight operations at our luxurious resort. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact during the night shift, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hospitality management, guest relations, and hotel safety protocols. Your proactive approach will help uphold our reputation for exceptional service and operational efficiency.
Duties
- Welcome guests arriving during the night shift with friendly, professional customer service and handle check-in/check-out procedures efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or PEP.
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, reservations, and revenue reports while maintaining detailed audit logs.
- Manage front desk operations including answering phone calls with proper phone etiquette, addressing guest inquiries, and resolving customer service issues promptly through effective problem-solving.
- Monitor security cameras and perform property inspections to ensure safety and security standards are upheld across the resort premises.
- Assist guests with special requests, provide information about resort amenities, and foster positive guest relations to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently during any incidents or safety concerns, coordinating with appropriate departments as needed.
- Maintain clear communication with team members across shifts to ensure smooth handovers and continuous service excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably within a resort environment.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems such as OPERA or PEP or other property management systems (PMS).
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem-solving abilities.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, safety protocols, and night audit processes is essential.
- Exceptional phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in hospitality reservation systems and hotel experience is preferred.
