Are you a people-focused insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centered environment? Are you interested in developing your skills and furthering your career?
We're looking for an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our storefront office in Springfield, Oregon. This is a dual service-and-sales role — you'll own the day-to-day relationship with your personal lines clients while also actively growing the book of business through new policy sales, cross-selling, and community referrals.
If you're someone who genuinely enjoys client interaction, thrives in a fast-paced office environment, and takes pride in doing insurance right, this role was built for you.
Key Responsibilities - What You'd Do:
- Service a book of personal lines accounts — renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and everything in between — with accuracy and care
- Market, quote, and sell new personal lines policies to walk-in prospects, referrals, and existing clients
- Identify cross-sell and account rounding opportunities within the existing book
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through same-day responsiveness, clear communication, and face-to-face service
- Prepare applications, submit to carriers, follow underwriting requirements, and verify issued policies
- Maintain client files in Epic and adhere to documentation and E&O standards
- Handle office operations including incoming mail, client payments, and supporting walk-in traffic flow
Job Requirements - What You'd Bring:
- Minimum 3 years of personal lines insurance experience
- Active Oregon Property & Casualty license (additional state licenses a plus) or the ability to obtain one
- Strong working knowledge of personal lines underwriting, coverage, and rating
- Proven ability to sell and market personal lines products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable with technology — Microsoft 365, agency management systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Dependable, self-motivated, and a true team player
- High school diploma or equivalent
