Job Overview

We are looking for a full-time Experienced Commercial Account Managers for our office who are motivated, solution-oriented and have a passion for service. The Senior Account Manager will independently oversee a book of business, provide consultative insurance support, and work closely with producers to support new business development and client growth opportunities

Requirements

New Jersey Property & Casualty Insurance License required
3+ Years of Commercial Account Management insurance experience required
Exceptional written & verbal communication & listening skills
Computer software knowledge including Microsoft office suite (outlook, word, excel, power point) insurance management system knowledge. Applied Systems EPIC preferred. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft word, excel and outlook preferred
Must be highly self-motivated, and must possess a willingness to work independently or as a team

Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial clients, delivering timely, professional, and proactive service.
- Manage the day-to-day servicing of a book of business, including policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, ID cards, and coverage-related requests.
Market new and renewal business to insurance carriers, preparing submissions and obtaining competitive coverage and pricing options.
Coordinate and manage the renewal process, including gathering underwriting information, reviewing exposures, and preparing renewal proposals.
Provide administrative and service support for complex accounts and clients requiring a higher level of account management.
Identify potential coverage gaps, service concerns, account issues, escalating matters and communicating key developments to Producers, Account Executives, and leadership as appropriate.
Maintain current knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting requirements, policy provisions, carrier appetites, and industry trends.

Our Rich Insurance History

The Vozza Agency was founded in 1953 by James G. Trubek and Joseph L. Vozza in Teaneck, NJ. The business was incorporated under New Jersey Law in September 1954 as Trubek and Vozza Agency. Stock was equally held by the founders who served as officers and directors. Joseph L. Vozza purchased Trubek's interest in 1960 and moved the office to Emerson, NJ. By charter amendment, the corporate name was changed in June 1967 to Joseph L. Vozza Agency Inc. The agency relocated to its own building in Park Ridge, NJ in 1978. David J. Vozza joined the agency in 1976 and was named to the Board of Directors in 1980 and elected vice president in 1983 and president in 1989 and has been in charge of the company's operations since that time.
