We are seeking a skilled Fiber Technician to join our team on some exciting projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fiber splicing, cabling, and network installations. This role involves working with various telecommunications equipment and ensuring efficient network operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic networks
- Conduct field service visits for network installations and repairs
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all tasks
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fiber splicing and cabling
- Knowledge of mechanical aspects related to fiber optics
- Familiarity with Ethernet, computer networking, and telecommunication systems
- Ability to work as a service technician in the field
- Understanding of electrical components related to fiber optics
