This opportunity is offered through Entryway North Texas. Participants will complete a 4-day Entry-Level Maintenance Training (dates: 07/7--07/10), covering basic maintenance skills including landscaping, construction, handyman tasks, plumbing, and groundskeeping. After training, participants receive support connecting with local employer partners in the multifamily industry. Job placement is not guaranteed, but our partners offer discounted housing upon employment.
Responsibilities:
· Learn and practice basic maintenance and repair tasks
- Gain hands-on experience in multiple trades
- Prepare for interviews and job applications with employer partners
Requirements:
· Any experience in landscaping, construction, handyman, plumbing, painting, or groundskeeping preferred
- Must be 18+
- Ability to attend all training days
