Construction Skilled Labor & General Labor Recruiter
Commercial Drywall Contractors, Inc. is a nationwide traveling subcontractor and labor supply company specializing in commercial construction projects across the United States. We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Skilled Labor & General Labor Recruiter to support our growing workforce and nationwide operations.
This position is responsible for recruiting, screening, onboarding, and maintaining relationships with skilled tradespeople and general laborers, while also providing ongoing account management and workforce support to ensure projects are properly staffed.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit skilled construction trades and general laborers for nationwide commercial projects.
- Build and maintain a reliable network of qualified traveling construction professionals.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, recruiting platforms, networking, and other recruiting channels.
- Conduct candidate interviews, skills assessments, employment verification, and availability checks.
- Coordinate onboarding, documentation, travel availability, and project placement.
- Maintain regular communication with employees throughout their assignments.
- Manage and develop relationships with field personnel, project managers, and customer accounts.
- Monitor staffing needs and proactively recruit to meet current and upcoming project demands.
- Resolve workforce issues quickly and professionally while maintaining strong employee and client relationships.
- Maintain accurate candidate, employee, and account records.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has experience in construction recruiting, skilled labor staffing, subcontractor operations, workforce management, or account management. Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Experience understanding commercial construction trades and the ability to recognize qualified field talent is highly preferred.

Because our workforce travels nationwide, the ability to recruit candidates who are willing and prepared to travel is especially important.
