Associate Director of Employee Well-Being

The Associate Director of Employee Well-Being develops, implements, and evaluates comprehensive well-being programs, including challenges and training/workshops, to support employee well-being. This position plays a key role in fostering a healthy workplace culture by educating employees on well-being practices, preventative health, and behavioral change strategies aligned with organizational health goals.
Primary duties include:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables
- Provide leadership and supervision to student and professional staff developing programs, marketing campaigns, and initiatives focused on impacting employee well-being.
- Develop curricula and facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions for faculty and staff based on identified needs.
- Manage, report, and publicize Employee Well-Being’s progress toward the achievement of unit, divisional, and university objectives.
- Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including university administrators, faculty, staff, and community partners.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in public health, communications, or related fi eld.
- 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in employeewellness, including supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding pf public health principles and evidence-basedcommunications and strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, includingexperience with media relations.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a face-paced environment.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of basic principles, practices, and theories affecting health and wellness.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships and maintain positive public relations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
