We are a growing, fee-for-service dental practice seeking a highly professional, organized, and detail-oriented Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in providing an exceptional experience for both new and existing patients. As the first point of contact for many patients, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments, coordinating clinical care, and presenting comprehensive treatment plans in a clear and compassionate manner. The ideal candidate has strong experience in a dental office, a firm understanding of dental procedures and terminology, and excellent communication and administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present and explain treatment plans, including procedures, timelines, and financial options
- Educate patients about costs and payment options
- Schedule and coordinate all patient appointments, including new patient consultations and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software
- Provide outstanding customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient office workflow
- Monitor and manage patient flow to minimize wait times and enhance patient satisfaction
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting or administrative certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental office, preferably as a Treatment Coordinator or similar role
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix required)
- Solid understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor with a focus on patient care and confidentiality
