COM | Surgery
Department's Website:
The Professor (MD) will provide surgical care to Bariatric Surgery patients.
M.D. or D.O. required.
General Surgery Residency Training.
Fellowship-trained.
Eligible for an Arkansas Medical License.
American Board of Surgery eligible.
DEA License or eligible.
Responsibilities:
Provide coordination, continuity, and consistency in patient care.
Responsibilities include direct patient care, medical teaching, research collaborations, clinical care, and scholarly activities that advance clinical medicine. Additional duties may vary based on position, discipline, and division.
Provide instruction through a variety of educational methodologies, including didactic, bedside, and clinical educational experiences.
Promote academic excellence and support the health and wellness of Arkansans.
Educational responsibilities may vary based on the needs of the appointment.
