Ridg-U-Rak is currently seeking an entry level 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector. Ridg-U-Rak is one of the largest pallet rack and storage rack manufacturers in North America. We have three facilities in North East, PA that provide over 400,000 square feet of manufacturing capability and warehousing space.
The candidate is responsible for ensuring processes are followed per established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all manufactured products.
Responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring of production processes
- Conducts destructive and non-destructive testing
- Provides documentation and reporting
- Follows and enforces all safety policies and SOP's
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Other quality control related duties as required
Qualifications:
- Industrial experience with Quality Control principles
- Experience in the welding, powder coating and roll form areas is a plus
- Must be familiar with multiple measuring instruments and Microsoft software.
- Strong math and blueprint reading skills
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexible with work hours to accommodate changing production schedules.
- CQI Certification is a plus
