Over the past 68 years, Sessler Wrecking has grown into one of the largest turn-key Building, Bridge, & Industrial Demolition specialists in the country. We are seeking a candidate to support the Bridge Demolition Division of Sessler Wrecking.
This role is ideal for an engineering professional who enjoys applying structural design principles, CAD expertise, and analytical skills to real-world challenges. As part of our engineering team, you will collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to develop safe, efficient, and innovative solutions for some of the nation’s most complex demolition projects.

Job Overview
As a Civil/Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our bridge and heavy highway demolition projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing project planning, managing timelines, and collaborating with a team of professionals to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Requirements
· Bachelor of Science Engineering - Civil or Mechanical Engineering Preferred.
· Open to entry-level candidates with a relevant degree or professionals with 3–5 years of project management or engineering experience in construction or demolition.
· Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for developing engineering drawings, demolition plans, structural details, and construction documentation.
· Knowledge of structural analysis principles, load considerations, materials, and building systems to support safe and effective project solutions.
· Ability to perform engineering evaluations, develop design concepts, and assist with calculations related to complex demolition and construction activities.
· Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create reports and communicate effectively.
· Experience in using scheduling software to manage project timelines and resources efficiently.
· Solid understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and building codes.
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in dynamic project environments.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
- Ability to safely navigate various construction site conditions, including climbing ladders, cluttered areas, working in bad weather, hazardous areas, dark conditions, and maneuvering uneven surfaces, frequently carrying items up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting or carrying objects up to 50 pounds, etc. for the purpose of inspecting progress and coordinating with the Site Supervisor.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
